Toddlermania Challenge Part II

And we're back - surprising poor Vali when he's being nice, and ruining his reputation.

Toddlermania Challenge Part I

a.k.a. I completed something! On a brand new laptop and everything. Don't have the stomach to read and cringe over old entries now, but this old blog needs to see some use. So while blatantly calling on the attention of some of my favourite writers, I present to you,

Robert Silver and the Veronaville orphanage inhabitantsCollapse )

My laptop died

and since the monitor and integrated graphics card are lost to the world, it would cost me dear to fix it. Twice the price I got it for, actually. That's goodbye to my constant companion, but since everything important is backed up, and every 'hood is up to date and no Sims 2 disc is broken, there shouldn't be any problem, I'll just reinstall the game and keep playing... but on what? This six-and-a-half year old desktop?

The thing is, I can't afford a new computer. I'm as busy studying as ever, I'll need to move for the fourth time shortly and as far as I know, a generation's worth of Prosperity pictures was just lost. So, err... Prosperity - Intro

Writer's Block: Burning down the house

Do you think you would you risk your life to save a stranger? Would it make a difference if it were an elderly person or a child? What about a neighbor's dog or cat?

Definitely my cat, if she was inside. And if I had time, or if she was already out, I'd snag the USB with my scrambled attempts at writing. To me, at least, they're invaluable.

Writer's Block: Do you peek?

If your friend or partner left his or her email open, would you look? How about a journal? Have you ever peeked at something private?

Did that just the once. I had been given the opportunity to find out for sure if I was being cheated on. I most definitely was, and that was the end of that - though I never revealed how I'd found out. Somehow, my morals tend to get in the way.
